On October 20, the delegation led by Haisum's CPC Committee Secretary and Company Chairman Zhao Guoang and Haisum's CPC Committee Deputy Secretary and Company President Chen Rongrong visited China Light Industry International Engineering (CLIEC). Team members, including Li Yimin, Zhou Yuan, Jin Shan, and heads of relevant functional departments also participated in the inspection visit.

During the meeting, CLIEC's CPC Committee Secretary and General Manager Liu Wei gave a report centered on the production and operation of the company and the formulation progress of the 14th Five-Year Plan and CLIEC's production departments also did a report on their orientation of development.

After hearing the reports, Haisum's leaders respectively underlined their specific requirements.

Chen Rongrong, Li Yimin, Zhou Yuan and Jin Shan recognized CLIEC's performance in production, operation and strategic planning formulation and pointed out that the teams should reach a consensus on operation objectives, strengthen the core competence with the core technology and proprietary technology as the basis, and establish a multipath development model while strengthening market-oriented management and supervision to reduce costs and increase efficiency.

At the end of the meeting, Zhao Guoang made a summary statement. He applauded CLIEC's thoughts on the 14th Five-Year plan and praised its departments for being purposeful, aspirational and willing to work in specific direction with promising measures. Chairman Zhao expressed his high expectations on the prospects of CLIEC and emphasized four points in terms of improving the professionalism in business production, operation and management, specifically, implementing market awareness through operation system, integrating scattered resources while improving overall capability, focusing on current tasks while planning for the future, and carrying out multi-aspect integration and laying development foundation. Chairman Zhao requested all staff of CLIEC to establish the awareness of shareholder and concepts of headquarters, highlight key work such as market expansion, operation management, technological innovation, capital operation and risk management, and promote the implementation of new measures. Organizations and cadres of different levels should follow closely the instructions of the Party, reinforce political position, serve the overall interests, accept the four major tests (severe long-term tests in exercising governance, carrying out reform and opening up and developing the market economy as well as tests from the external environment), and stabilize and improve business performance. Staff should keep their confidence high even after position adjustment, stay true to their original aspiration while advancing fearlessly, and always pursue company development of higher quality.

During the inspection, the heads of Haisum's relevant functional departments also offered their instructions on the formulation of branch management plan.
