On January 22, Haisum held the 2021 science and technology work meeting and safety production work meeting in Shanghai. Zhao Guoang, the Secretary of the Party Committee and the Chairman of Haisum, Chen Rongrong, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and the President of Haisum, and some members of the leadership team made their presence at the meeting.

The meeting was held in the form of main venue + video sub-venue. Company leaders, heads of related functional departments at headquarters, professional (industry) directors and major leaders of various subsidiaries participated in the meeting at the main venue. The directors taking charge of technology and safety production work in subsidiaries participated in the meeting through the video conference call.

At the meeting, President Chen Rongrong expounded on the company’s development plan of technology research and development and thoughts on the future of Haisum intelligent and smart factory with the topic of “The Value Embodiment and Path of Haisum Smart Factory”. The three dimensions of “what is the definition of Smart Factory”, “what is Haisum Smart Factory” and “what should Haisum do”were elaborated to share the understandings of “focusing on customers and delivering values”. He emphasized that everyone should maintain the original intention of “technical work”, treat the current deficiencies in the company’s technology and R&D work correctly, and strive to find new scientific and technological focus based on maintaining the original work and put it into the planning of our future scientific and technological tasks. Vice President Jin Shan also made a systematic analysis on the current status and existing problems of the company’s technology research and development sector, and proposed preliminary ideas about the organizational positioning and structure of the company's technology research and development sector in the future, as well as the responsibilities and tasks of the headquarters technology research and development center and the technology research and development departments of subsidiaries.

At the meeting, Li Hongxin, the company's safety director, made a comprehensive report on the company's safe production work in 2020 and its work goals and measures to be taken in 2021. Focusing on science and technology research and development and safe production management, Changsha, Guangzhou and Wuhan Companies conducted special exchange speeches on the development of the research and development projects, the transformation and promotion, digitization, and information construction of the scientific research results. Guangzhou and Changsha Companies also exchanged their excellent experiences in safe production management.
