From April 28 to 29, the review meeting for the draft of the national standard "Light Industry Engineering Terminology Standard" and the draft of the industrial specifications "Household Ceramic Factory Design Code" and "Plastic Product Factory Design Code" (English version) was held at the headquarters of Haisum Engineering in Shanghai head office. Jin Shan, the Vice President and Technical Director of Haisum, attended the meeting and delivered a welcome speech. Dong Hui, the Secretary-General of China Light Industry Engineering Construction Association, hosted the meeting. A total of more than 30 participants from the compilation units, compilation assistance units, technical responsible and supporting units of China Light Industry Engineering Construction Association, the representatives of the Association's Standards Committee and specially invited industrial specialists attended the meeting.

Jin Shan extended a sincere welcome to the specialists and representatives who participated in the meeting, hoping specialists to advise and provide suggestions, strictly review the standard and specifications and put forward valuable comments to ensure a high-quality compilation task. The Secretary-General Dong Hui introduced the specific preparations for the meeting and the requirements and procedures for the review and acceptance of the drafts of the national standard and industrial specifications.

After listening to the detailed introduction and explanation on the preparation of the one standard and two specifications, the implementation of expert opinions, the preparation of the terminology of each chapter, the existing problems and the progress of the revision by the compilation units and compilation assistance units, the participating specialists conducted communication and discussion on the meeting subjects one by one based on the scientific, realistic, positive and responsible working principle and proposed targeted revision opinions.

After a day and a half of deliberation, the specialists at the meeting reached an agreement that the documents and materials of the standard and the specifications were basically complete, the basis for the formulation was clearly elaborated, meeting the evaluation requirements. In principle, the drafts of the standard and the specifications passed the review. According to their opinions, the standard and the specifications shall be further revised and improved, and the drafts for approval shall be formulated as soon as possible and submitted as planned.
