To further strengthen our ideals and beliefs, inherit the red tradition and accept the baptism of the revolution, from May 13 to 15, more than 20 leaders of Haisum leadership team, Xi'an Company leadership team and Party cadres held the "Learning Party History and Understanding Thoughts" in Yan'an, the holy place of revolution, practicing the Party History Education Special Training Class.

At the training class opening ceremony, He Hailun, the head of the Yan'an Spiritual Research Center of the Party School of Yan'an Municipal Party Committee and the former Vice President of Yan'an Cadre Training College, gave a welcome speech. Zhao Guoang, the Secretary of the CPC  Committee Secretary and Chairman of Haisum made a mobilization speech for the opening of the class. Zhao underlined that Yan'an was the cradle of the Chinese revolution and the spiritual home of Communist Party members. We came to Yan'an, a sacred place of revolution, to carry out study and education to thoroughly study and comprehend Xi Jinping’s thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, not forget our original aspirations and keep our mission in mind, inherit the red gene, carry forward the Party’s fine traditions, and further enhance the "four consciousnesses", strengthen the "four self-confidence", achieve "two safeguards" and continuously improve our capacities in political judgment, political understanding and political execution.

After the opening ceremony, Dean He gave a special lecture entitled "Yan'an Spirit and Its Value of the Times", which systematically explained the rich connotation and theoretical system of the Yan'an Spirit, the social conditions for the formation and development of the Yan'an Spirit, and its value of the times and influential effect.

During the following day and a half of intense training, the trainees listened to special lectures, participated in on-site teaching, toured the revolutionary sites such as Yangjialing and Zaoyuan, experienced the hard times of the Party, recapped the history of the Party and felt the epic written by the Party Central Committee in Yan'an. At the class, everyone learned to sing revolutionary songs and folk songs in northern Shaanxi. They were once again infected by the revolutionary passion of the prosperous years and moved by the great Yan'an spirit.

During the training, the trainees made a special trip to Liangjiahe where General Secretary Xi Jinping stayed for seven years, visited the village history museum and the former residence of the school graduates. In a strong learning atmosphere with Yan'an characteristics, the students sat on the campstools and listened to the live teaching of "The Enlightenment of Xi Jinping’s Experience in Village to the Growth of Cadres", tracing the source of Xi Jinping’s socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, affirming the correct political direction and remembering the original intention of putting people at the center.

In front of the Serving the People's speech podium, the students read "Serving the People" in unison, remembering the ordinary and great life of Martyr Zhang Side; they also faced the bright red Party flag, read the Party oath, recalled their commitment to the Party and the people and the original intention of joining the Party.

This special training on the Party history has enabled the Party cadres participating in the training to receive a deep tempering of Party spirit and ideological baptism and to further understand the original mission of the Communists. Everyone said that the 13 years of the Party in Yan'an were the most critical and arduous period in the revolutionary struggle. It was also a period of growth from small to large, from weak to strong, from setbacks to victory, all the way leading to the glorious historical achievements. The Yan'an spirit has become the spiritual banner of the Chinese nation, the spiritual pillar for winning the victory over the enemy, and the powerful spiritual driving force for the modernization of socialism with Chinese characteristics. We will take this study and education in Yan'an as an opportunity to continue to carry forward the Party’s revolutionary traditions and fine work style in Yan'an, carry out the practical activities of "I do practical things for the masses", and earnestly achieve the goal of "learning history to make sense, increase credit, respect morality and exert practice", put a more pragmatic style and a good mental state into work to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of CPC.
