On September 23, Zhao Guoang, the Secretary of the CPC Committee and Chairman of Haisum and his delegation visited China Tobacco Hubei Industrial LLC. for exchanges and attended the signing ceremony of the general contracting project for the production of the Yellow Crane Tower cigarette bead. Gao Qiang, the Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and General Manager of China Tobacco Hubei, attended the signing ceremony and held discussions and exchanges on in-depth cooperation.  

During the discussion, the two parties introduced their respective production and operation conditions and directions of future development and recapped the cooperative history of China Tobacco Hubei and Haisum in tobacco industry-related projects. Gao Qiang expressed his gratitude to the technical team and innovative spirit of Haisum invested in assisting China Tobacco Hubei to promote the EPC project, and fully affirmed the commitment to overcoming the adverse effects of the two waves of the pandemic in the advancement of the projects under construction.   

Zhao extended his heartfelt thanks to China Tobacco Hubei for its strong support to Haisum. He stated that China Tobacco Hubei insists on reform and innovation by seizing technological transformation, and structural adjustment, which sets up a banner of state-owned enterprise reform and a benchmark for transformation and development. The tobacco industry has always been Haisum’s traditional competitive edges. In recent years, the two parties have continued to expand cooperation and have laid a solid foundation for collaboration. Haisum hopes to further provide higher-quality services to China Tobacco Hubei and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results for both parties by relying on the profound technical background, rich project management experiences and advanced digital engineering service capabilities.  

The leadership of both parties also witnessed the signing ceremony of the general contract for the production project of the Yellow Crane Tower Tobacco Cracked cigarette bead. On behalf of the general contractor, Zhao stated that Haisum would always adhere to the strict requirements of the work attitude of "being responsible to the Party, to the Owner, to the project and to the history" to scientifically plan and implement project vigorously with enthusiasm to fulfill the "Double First Class" construction goal requirements of China Tobacco Hubei and work side by side with all participating units and suppliers to ensure that the project construction goals can be achieved on schedule.

The delegation members participated in the exchange visit and the signing ceremony also included: Chen Huibin, the Chief Engineer of China Tobacco Hubei Industrial LLC., Wang Kang, the Director of Investment Management Department, Mao Yao, the Director of Technology Center; Wu Pingyuan, the General Manager of Tobacco Investment Company of Hubei Branch of China National Tobacco Corporation, Liu Kun, the General Manager of Xinye Construction Company; Hu Fangyong, the Chairman of Huanghelou Science Park (Group) Co., Ltd. and the General Manager, Zhou Hansheng; as well as Zhou Yuan and Chen Zhiming, the Vice Presidents of Haisum, and relevant persons in charge of the Market Development Center and Wuhan Company.

As a high-quality benchmark project focused on by China Tobacco Hubei this year, the Yellow Crane Tower Cigarette Bead  Production Project is an important strategic project for the implementation of the "14th Five-Year" strategic plan by the Yellow Crane Tower Science and Technology Park Group for high-quality development in line with the development standing and industrial layout of the company and the promotion of the high-efficient corporate governance. A consortium is formed by Haisum Wuhan Company and Hubei Xinye Building Decoration Engineering Co., Ltd. to undertake this project.
