Recently, China Haisum Engineering Co., Ltd. and Lee & Man Paper Manufacturing Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Lee & Man Paper") signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly carry out low-carbon scientific and technological innovation research and explore low-carbon transformation and development new mode of the paper making industry.

Lee & Man Paper is one of the world's famous producers of base paper and pulp. Since its listing in 2003, Lee & Man Paper has become a large multinational enterprise, with an annual production capacity of more than 7.385 million tons. China Haisum is one of the largest design and engineering integration service providers in pulp and paper making industry of China, providing industry enterprises with all-round engineering design consulting services and engineering construction and project management services throughout the industry life cycle. The strategic cooperation between the both sides aims to jointly build a demonstrative, efficient, clean, low-carbon and circular green manufacturing system in the paper making industry and contribute to the implementation of the national "double carbon" goal.

According to the agreement, the both sides should establish a double-carbon research institute, gather high-end professionals in the fields of pulp and paper making, low-carbon energy conservation and environmental protection, carry out scientific research and pilot of core technologies in double-carbon field, promote low-carbon scientific and technological innovation, promote the industrialization of new low-carbon technologies, new products and new processes, and conduct in-depth cooperation in policy research, "double carbon" goal realization path, digital intelligent carbon system practice and application, data mining analysis, carbon finance and other fields, and apply the digital and intelligent means to help achieve the double carbon goal.
