On December 26, China CEC Engineering Corporation (China CEC), affiliated to China Haisum, and Guizhou Pengsheng (Group) Paper Co., Ltd. held the signing ceremony of the general contracting project of comprehensive utilization of renewable resources in Qianxinan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. Chen Rongrong, Vice Secretary of CPC Committee and President, Chen Zhiming, Vice President of China Haisum, and Pi Zuqiao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of  Guizhou Pengsheng (Group) Paper. Co., Ltd. attended the ceremony. Xie Xianguo, Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of China CEC, signed the contract on behalf of the General Contractor.

The project features using recycled resources (OCC) as main raw material for wrapping paper (cardboard and corrugated paper). The production and auxiliary production system includes waste paper acceptance shed, waste paper storage yard, feeding workshop, pulping workshop, wet paper joint workshop, finished product warehouse, grinding roller workshop and matching power workshop (1 x 130t/h coal-fired boiler, 1 x B20MW back pressure generator unit and 1 x 60t/h solid waste boiler), wastewater treatment station, general engineering drawing, and supporting works, etc. The project is to be implemented in EPC mode, and the General Contractor is China CEC.

Over the last few years, China CEC and Guizhou Pengsheng (Group) Paper Co., Ltd. have deepened their strategic partnership. China CEC successively undertook the company’s several general contracting projects like wrapping paper PM1 and PM2 production lines with an annual output of 600,000t, and supporting reclaimed water recycling construction project, helping the company become the first enterprise in the world to achieve zero discharge of waste water from waste paper based paper making.  In March 2022, the company’s wrapping paper project with an annual output of 600,000t and its supporting bobbin paper production line with an annual output of 50,000t has successfully started to produce paper and rolled up, marking a perfect completion for the whole set of project (Phase I ) of the company.

PM1 has successfully been put into operation

The road ahead is vast and boundless. The two sides will join hands again and continue to make great achievements. China CEC will help Guizhou Pengsheng (Group) Paper Co., Ltd. take another solid step towards the goal of implementing the strategy of being industrial powerhouse and building a wrapping  paper production base using millions of tons of recycled waste paper in the southwest hinterland.
