On March 4, Gao Qiang, Party Group Secretary and General Manager of China Tobacco Hubei Industrial LLC (China Tobacco Hubei), along with his delegation, visited China Haisum for investigation and research. Zhao Guoang, Vice General Manager of Poly Sinolight, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Haisum, Chen Rongrong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of China Haisum, warmly welcomed them.

During the meeting, they had discussions and exchanged ideas on the development of the tobacco industry and future cooperation directions. Zhang Zhi, the Vice President of China Haisum, introduced the product system of China Haisum in the tobacco industry, and relevant persons in charge also engaged in discussions regarding the digital delivery, intelligent manufacturing, "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" business, and full-process consulting services in the tobacco industry.

Gao Qiang expressed his gratitude for the support and assistance provided by China Haisum in various technological improvement projects of China Tobacco Hubei. He stated that China Haisum and China Tobacco Hubei have pioneered the implementation of the EPC mode for engineering construction projects in the tobacco industry, and achieved good results, which is a model of their friendly cooperation. He hoped that China Haisum and China Tobacco Hubei will keep studying the generic technology in areas such as intelligent manufacturing and low-carbon green initiatives, to jointly promote the digital transformation of the tobacco industry and the realization of the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, accelerate the self-reliance in science and technology of China Tobacco Hubei, and empower the high-quality development of the tobacco industry.

Zhao Guoang welcomed the arrival of Gao Qiang and his delegation. He stated that with joint efforts, multiple industry firsts have been achieved, laying a good foundation for further cooperation. China Haisum has been continuously promoting the application of new processes, new technologies, and new equipment through collaborative efforts. He hoped that both sides can work together in creating model projects featuring intelligent manufacturing, low carbon, environmental protection in the tobacco industry. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of conducting more industry research focused on intelligence, digitalization, green and low-carbon initiatives, and industrialization, in order to empower the high-quality development of the tobacco industry.

Prior to the meeting, Gao Qiang and his delegation visited the brand exhibition hall of China Haisum and the EIM Digital Innovation Center. They also held a project summary and improvement exchange meeting, as well as a communication meeting for smart manufacturing and carbon peaking and carbon neutrality .
