On the morning of August 9, China Haisum Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “China Haisum”) held a seminar on “Leading the Transformation and Upgrading of Traditional Manufacturing Industry through Digital Intelligence Enabling - Digital Transformation and Intelligent Manufacturing Upgrading in the Context of “Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality”. The attendees to the seminar included the full-time external directors of Poly Sinolight, the members of the leadership team of China Haisum, the heads of the departments at the Headquarters, and the principal leaders of business entities. The seminar was chaired by Vice President Liu Wei.

Zhao Guoang, Deputy General Manager of Poly Sinolight and Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Haisum, and Chen Rongrong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of China Haisum, attended the seminar and gave work instructions.

In his concluding remarks, Chen Rongrong pointed out that new quality productive forces include future industries and emerging industries; and that using advanced technologies such as "digital intelligence" to transform and upgrade traditional industries is also an important path to develop new quality productive forces. Taking into account China's national "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" strategy and requirements for green development of the industrial chain, the Company will increase investment in digitalization, intelligent manufacturing, and "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" service sectors, rely on the independently developed Haisum Cloud Platform, HAIPlanform digital delivery, and HCIPlatform hyper-converged data mid-platform, and taking advantage of rich engineering experience and core technology, integrate and develop industrial intelligent APPs such as production line health management, intelligent process optimization, and targeted carbon control, providing comprehensive engineering project lifecycle solutions. The Company will continue the vitality of traditional industries through digital transformation, continuously achieve energy conservation, cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency enhancement, and form new quality productive forces for the transformation from manufacturing to "smart manufacturing".

Chen Rongrong stressed that driven by the wave of digitalization and intelligence, traditional manufacturing is embracing historic opportunities for its transformation and upgrading. Digital transformation is the only way for manufacturing enterprises to achieve high-quality development. Digital intelligence enabling is not only an inevitable requirement for new projects, but also an enabling for large-scale updating and transformation of existing industrial equipment.
