On November 1, 2024, the signing ceremony for the EPC contract of the Forest-Pulp-Paper Integration Project Phase I Chemical Pulp Supporting 2,000tds/d Alkali Recovery Project of Guangxi Jianhui Paper Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Guangxi Jianhui Paper) was successfully held at the International Building of Dongguan Jianhui Paper Co., Ltd. Zhao Guoang, Vice General Manager of Poly Sinolight, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Haisum, and Li Guihua, Chairman of Jianhui Group, attended the signing ceremony. The contract was signed by Li Yunyi, Vice Chairman of Guangxi Jianhui Paper, and Xie Xianguo, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Haisum CEC, as representatives of both parties.

The signing ceremony was presided over by Liu Mingwei, Director and General Manager of Guangxi Jianhui Paper. Ran Hu, Vice General Manager of Guangxi Jianhui Paper, and relevant department heads, Zhang Zhi, Vice President of China Haisum, Lin Wei, General Manager of China Haisum CEC, Tan Wenzheng, Vice General Manager, as well as relevant department heads of the China Haisum headquarters and CEC attended the signing ceremony and held symposiums for discussions and exchanges.

In his speech, Xie Xianguo noted that since 2002, CEC has undertaken multiple projects of Jianhui Group, establishing a long-standing partnership. He emphasized that the newly signed project marks another milestone in development process of Jianhui Group, and CEC will practice the responsibility as a state-owned enterprise with high standards, high quality, and high requirements in the project process in the principles of "green and low-carbon, technology-driven intelligence, and lean management", will assign outstanding project managers and teams to ensure seamless coordination between design, procurement, and construction phases, striving to create a model project and live up to the trust Jianhui Group has consistently placed in CEC.

Zhao Guoang congratulated Jianhui Group on its achievements in recent years and thanked Guangxi Jianhui Paper for selecting CEC as the general contractor. He highlighted that China Haisum is the first listed professional engineering design service provider in China, the largest design and integrated engineering service provider in the pulp and paper industry, and a pioneer and practitioner in promoting "Chinese equipment", "Chinese standards" and "Made in China" globally. He expressed hope for continuous collaboration with Jianhui Group in forestry-pulp-paper integration, comprehensive utilization of eco-friendly resources, and "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" goals, to jointly contribute to the transformation of China's paper industry, enhancement of its global competitiveness, and the cultivation of future industries.
