On April 23, Sinolight Corporation (referred to as Poly Sinolight) and China Paper Investment Co., Ltd. (referred to as China Paper) held in-depth discussions and signed a strategic cooperation agreement at Poly Sinolight's headquarters to further deepen their collaboration. Zhao Guoang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Poly Sinolight, and Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Haisum, Sun Bo, Vice General Manager of Poly Sinolight, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China National Pulp and Paper Research Institute, Zhong Tianqi, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Paper, Cao Weiliang and Xie Xianlong, Vice General Managers, and Shan Liwei, General Manager Assistant and Chief Engineer, attended the signing ceremony.
During the meeting, Sun Bo and Cao Weiliang introduced the basic information of Poly Sinolight and China Paper, respectively. Zhang Zhi, Vice President of China Haisum, reviewed the history of cooperation between the two parties and outlined the key points of the collaboration.
Zhao Guoang warmly welcomed Zhong Tianqi and his delegation, highlighting the deepened cooperation between Poly Sinolight and China Paper in areas such as scientific research and innovation, project implementation, and intelligent manufacturing over the years. In particular, he mentioned the joint efforts in several key projects and services since the "14th Five-Year Plan", laying a solid foundation for the high-quality development of China's pulp and paper industry. In the planning for the "15th Five-Year Plan", he hoped that this signing ceremony can serve as a new starting point to initiate a new strategic cooperation journey and strengthen collaboration in enterprise management, technological innovation, industrial investment, and intelligent manufacturing. Zhao also emphasized that Poly Sinolight looks forward to partnering with China Paper to build an innovative consortium and an open and symbiotic industry ecosystem, lead industry transformation, and foster new production forces with distinctive features of the times.
Zhong Tianqi expressed gratitude for the warm reception by Poly Sinolight to China Paper delegation, and fully acknowledged the friendly cooperative relations established between the two parties over the years. He introduced the strategic direction of China Paper for the "15th Five-Year Plan" and expressed the desire to continue deepening cooperation with Poly Sinolight to solidify a strong foundation for the modernization and high-quality development of the pulp and paper industry, and collectively uphold the earnest hopes of the people for a better life.
After the discussions, Sun Bo and Xie Xianlong signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties. According to the agreement, the two parties are expected to conduct in-depth cooperation in the areas of technology research and industrialization, whole-process engineering services, smart factories, paper product procurement and sales, talent cultivation and exchange based on their respective resources and professional advantages.
Following the meeting, the China Paper leaders also visited China National Pulp and Paper Research Institute's exhibition room and the national pulp and paper engineering laboratory.
Persons in charge from the China Paper's Operation Management Department, Technology Innovation Department, Chengtong Kaisheng, and Zhongzhi Hongtai, as well as relevant leaders from the Poly Sinolight's Strategic Investment Department and Operation Management Department, as well as China National Pulp and Paper Research Institute, China Haisum, and Chaint, participated in the activities.
China Haisum possesses rich project experience and excellent technical capabilities in the pulp and paper industry, and has provided professional engineering services to multiple companies under China Paper, including the Yueyang Forest & Paper 450,000-ton Cultural Paper Project. The two parties have established a long-term and stable cooperative relationship.
